Creepy...[Open] « Thread Started on Nov 22, 2006, 4:58pm »
Relena made her way up the empty stairway, her golden heels clicking against the stone. She was dressed in a black longsleeve shirt, black dress pants, and a golden-yellow coat. She also had on golden slippers, which were high heels. She turned and gazed around the stairway. Boy, there's tons of creepy places in this school!, she thought. I'd forgotten how creepy it really was.
She continued up the stairway, then tripped on on the top step. She fell onto the platform just as the staircase began to move. He pulled up her pants leg to see a large, bleeding scrape. She cursed lightly, then pulled the pants leg back over the wound. She slowly got up, then began limping towards the next staircase. A shot of pain rushed up through her leg, and she collapsed, holding onto the rail as she fell to her knees. She needed to get to the hospital wing, but she couldn't bear to move. Plus, she needed to go to her office and work on her lesson plan. She called out for help. "Somebody! Up here! I need help! Somebody!" A tear slid down her cheek in pain as she wondered if anybody would hear her call, or if her cry for help merely fell on deaf ears.

Blayne strode silently through the castle, just wandering around since he had gotten done with planning for his classes a bit earlier than he had imagined. As he was about to enter the fourth floor, he heard a cry, coming from above, probably the next floor up. What worried him even more was that it did not sound like a student- but rather a Professor. This was his first year here, like many other, so he didn't properly know very many people, but that wasn't going to stop him.
He sprinted up the stairs, being caused to stop momentarily since the staircase wasn't ready for him when he got there. He was very impatient since someone was obviously hurt and in pain. "Hurry Up!" His voice was raised slightly. The staircase finally got there, and he hurried up it, and to the next corridor. He saw a woman there, he knew her to be Relena Carter, head of Hufflepuff.
"Are you okay?"
He hustled to her, and slid down to a stop on his knees next to her, taking a look at her leg, but not lifting up her pant leg because he didn't want to invade her privacy.

Relena sat against the wall in much pain, just as she heard a man yell at something, probably the staircase. She then turned to see Blayne Hawthorne rushing up the stairs, and then towards her. He knelt beside her, and asked her if she was okay. She chuckled. "Well, in a sense, yes," she said. She was trying to keep her positive outlook, though she had to admit it was slipping away fast. "It's just a scrape," she said, trying to get up. Then, she collapsed. "Maybe a broken leg. But it won't affect me that much in the long run!"
"I think I need to go to the hospital wing...but the problem is, I can't walk. So, if you could offer any help, that would be lovely," she said, chuckling in her own misery. She didn't think she could do that much longer, though, and she pain was extending all the way up her leg, and soon it might just envelope her entire body...especially if it caused her to tumble down the stairs, or off a balcony.

Blayne smiled lightly, she always had a positive attitude, and that was amazing. If he was in her situation right now, he would not be able to keep his cool like she was, she apparently had a larger pain tolerance, and a lot more self-control than he did, but anyways, he nodded, but thought that he should check out her leg first anyway.
"Sorry, but I think that I should look at your leg; I will gladly take you to the Hospital Wing, but let me see..."
He was no trained doctor, but it didn't look good as he slowly lifted up her pantleg, revealing the large, deep cut. He shook his head lightly, it looked pretty bad, way worse than she made it sound. He got out his wand and pointed it at the wound, and flicked it lightly. "Ferula." Bandages came out of nowhere and wrapped themselves tightly around her cut. It may hurt, but he didn't want it to get infected.
He situated his feet so that they were in more sturdy positions, and put one of his arms underneath her knees, and the other in the middle of her back. He stood, lifting her up with him. "Alright, Hospital Wing?"

Relena winced lightly as her pantleg touched the wound, but she still didn't let go of her positive attitude. "Thanks," she said, lower and in a bit more pain than before. Then, he mentioned the hospital wing. "Yes, of course," she said as he picked her up. "Let's go."
But Relena was afraid. She'd been having dreams...dreams where she woke up in the hospital wing with this very wound, and Hogwarts was burning around her. But she needed the medical help. So she hesitantly, but nonetheless, agreed.
