Sirius drawled himself to a bare room made almost completely with blue and white marble. The door glided closed behind him. The square tiles below his feet reflected nothing as it usually would in the early morning but it was a particular Sunday when the sun hid behind the clouds and rain poured through the school grounds.
A sliver of light from a cracked window above him shone upon a tall covered object across from him. Dust was scattered across the velvet that seemed to be protecting one from finding the thing. A pillar smaller than the rest allowed the object to slightly lean against it. His hand swept over the fabric as he examined it. One never knew what was safe these days but danger was his middle name.
Circling the object that was well over his height, he thingyed his head yawning. Without hesitating, Sirius pulled the velvet to the floor next to his right. Before him stood the back of the mirror he did not know of. What he was looking at was made out of gold and a single scratch laid upon its elegant bare canvas. He circled it once more and when he reached the part of the crafted wood where it leaned against the pillar, he saw what he thought was a painting of people.
Because the pillar blocked his eyes from getting a clear view, Sirius could only see parts of the “painting.” Deciding to examine the specimen better he took out his wand and silently rotated the object. Sirius gazed at the writing that was carved at the top which read, “The Mirror of Erised.” Before he had a chance to see what was reflected on the mirror, the door opened. Sirius raised his wand sheepishly at whom ever had entered the room.

Courtney came to a halt as she saw none other than Sirius Black, raising his wand over in her direction. She was quite surprised, and didn't really think there would be anyone else inside the room where the Mirror of Erised was kept. "Erm, are you going to curse me?" she asked Sirius, still standing there, wishing that he would put his wand down.

“It's a possibility but you thought of it, not me,” replied Sirius sternly. Putting his arm down, he grinned as a sign that he wasn’t serious. He grew bored though it had completely nothing to do with the girl before him; it took a lot to keep Sirius occupied. He glimpsed at the Mirror of Erised, growing confusion emancipating his thoughts. For one, why was he in it?
Maybe the girl could be of some use. “Is that really me on there?” Sirius pointed his wand towards the mirror.

Courtney shrugged as she jumped off the steps that led down onto the platform. "Well, I don't really know because I can't see what you see in the mirror, can I?" she replied, standing next to Sirius looking into the mirror. "What I'm seeing is totally different to what you see, since we probably don't share the same "hearts desire"." she said.

Another witch who answers questions with answers, thought Sirius referring to his ex-mum. He stared grimly at Courtney not intending to say anything.
"What I'm seeing is totally different to what you see, since we probably don't share the same "hearts desire"."
“We could.” Sirius grinned mischievously completing meaning to say his words the way that he did. He delayed introducing himself as everyone that he did so to simply didn’t believe him.

"Alright then. What do you see in the mirror?"
"Quite noisy aren't you for practically a stranger?" He asked this half yawning. Sirius faced the mirror seeing himself and many others he didn't know yet. There was Harry, Hermione, Ron, Lily, a dead wormtail, James, Remus, and a few others in the back whom which he couldn't see. There was a certain blonde head of hair that stuck out in the mist of the painting that matched the exact color of Courtney's hair but he chose to ignore that.
