THE RULES [read or die]

We give credit for these rules to Kiah McGregor of Hogwarts Mystical Schools. Even though we made a few adjustments.......

This is the law. Live, breath, eat, sniff these rules! Nah, but they will be enforced and it is for the best interest of the general population to follow these rules. Enjoy.

The Admin Rules:
1) Admins are always right.
2) If you believe an admin may be wrong, please see rule #1.

So let's get to it!

The Don'ts
-No Godmoding
-No Spaming
-No Poor Grammar/Poor Spelling...we will check you on this. Believe it.
-No Anime for your avatar/signature. Why? Because it's annoying, and most of them look like superheroes. Superheroes do not exist in the wizarding world.
-No Mary Sues/Gary Stus, they are not only unrealistic but really annoying. If you don't know what a Mary Sue/Gary Stu is, look here. Even if you DO know what it is, this is extremely funny. Check it out anyway.
-No double posting! There is a modify button for a reason!
-No display names like angelbaby12345. Use a real name like Jane Doe and make it original.
-No using character names, unless you are a canon character. There are a limited amount of canons.
-Please try not to make the name of your thread too long since it will stretch out the page for some members.
-No extremely masty swearing! Please, please... Don't do this. It ticks some people off. Light swear words are fine. If you really cannot differentiate light from vulgar, please PM someone on the admin team.

The MUST Dos
-Write in third person
-Posts must be at LEAST two paragraphs long. We don't want to read one-liners....not only because they're boring, but they also restrict the ability of your fellow thread-members.
-Out Of Character in an in-character post are to be in brackets. These things: <> or {} or [] or ()... you get the idea.
-POST OFTEN. Twice a week would be nice.
- Your sig may not be huge. They stretch the page and make it annoying to scroll down. Also, you may only have two graphics, and/or three lines of written text. NO FULL-OUT SONG LYRICS. A three-line chorus, maybe, but not the whole song.
-Ask before joining a thread. Suddenly appearing in the middle of a conversation is very annoying. If an open thread is already going past four posts, ask. Do not reply to a tagged thread without permission.
-As for veelas, werewolves, elves and others along those lines must be consulted with an admin first.

-Applications must be made within 7 days of account activation.

-We can delete you without any warning. **password for sorting hat is bellcarols**

-You can have up to four characters initially. Please you create separate accounts for each one. If you would please, PM one of the admins with ALL of your characters listed. If you believe that you want and can handle more than four characters, please ask permission from one of the admins, and we will honestly tell you whether or not you may create one.

-Anything goes, but let's be realistic people. As realistic as a school of magical teenagers can be anyway. Not every other person is going to be gay or a wrist-slitter. Even WORSE and MORE ANNOYING, not every character can have some super powers! The school is not FULL of vampires.....maybe just a few. Plus, some of the things Harry can do? Yeah, not all of us can. Not everyone has a Patronus, they're extremely difficult and rare! Is this sinking into your mind yet?

Okay, that having been said. Let's get you accepted and rping.
